My father has been gone for over twenty years but memories of him still remain etched in my heart. He was always encouraging me to be the best I could be. I still remember him telling me that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. Those words still ring true today. My dad gave me the gift -- "Never Give Up!"
I frequently gaze at a picture of him on the wall of my art studio that was taken probably 30 years ago. There he is in his backyard; he had finally finished his Koi fish pond and in this picture he is sporting a great big smile and a "thumbs up."

More memories about my dad - I remember fondly how he always found ways to meet the needs of his neighbors or close friends, sometimes to his own detriment.
